From the front, Gwyneth Paltrow couldn't have looked more conservative at the "Country Strong" premiere in Los Angeles Tuesday.
The 38-year-old's white dress had a high neckline, low hemline and featured long sleeves.
But the actress wasn't being completely demure.
The Emilio Pucci gown was actually backless, with a slit on the left side that extended all the way to the floor.
The only thing holding the custom-made dress together?
A string of fabric in a lattice pattern, criss-crossing down to Paltrow's thigh.
The side view also revealed that Paltrow, a mom of two, was wearing sexy black stilettos, which had straps reminiscent of the dress' criss-cross.
Paltrow may be country strong, but she knew to show off a different strength as she posed for photographers: her rocking body.
