Forget that whole acting thing – Charlie Sheen is set to make a small fortune from his new favorite hobby: tweeting.
Thanks to his record-setting rise to one million followers in less than 26 hours, the spiraling "Two and a Half Men" star is set to make $1 million annually by tweeting endorsements, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Arnie Gullov-Singh, the CEO of Ad.ly, which helped get Sheen started on Twitter, said he could even beat the Kardashians and former MTV reality show star Lauren Conrad as the most influential tweeters.
While the money may mean a lot to others, it may not be enough to support Sheen's entourage of "goddesses" – and impending court bills. He was paid $1.2 million per episode for his CBS hit show.
Gullov-Singh said he's confident he can keep Sheen in the green – despite his controversial last few weeks.
"He had the No. 1-rated show for seven years," he pointed out to the Hollywood Reporter.
Since joining the Twittersphere on March 1, Sheen has amassed 1.34 million followers as of Thursday afternoon. He only follows 25 people, including Howard Stern, Nick Swisher and Piers Morgan.
"In all sincerity ... Thank you Twitter community for the warm reception & the followers that helped get me to 1M in 24 hours!!!" he tweeted.
