The first-ever Empire State Building light show.
The Empire State Building put on a glitzy light show on Monday night - with a little help from Alicia Keys.
The 14-time Grammy winner flipped the switch on the iconic Manhattan skyscraper's new LED tower light display, a moment that was also synchronized with the playing of her tunes “Girl on Fire” and “Empire State of Mind.”

Alicia Keys 'turns on' the lights.
"The Empire State Building has always been a symbol of what's possible in New York, and all the dreams that can come true in this city that never sleeps," Keys said in a statement. "I'm so excited to unveil the new tower lights that are going to illuminate the city below like never before—shining bright with inspiration. As a proud New Yorker, I'm so honored and humbled to be a little part of its history."
